Liisa wanted me to take a photo of a flower arrangement for her. They are called lehdokki (not sure the english name) but they are relatively rare, smell very nice but only grow during a short time period. It was a nice challenge for me to learn a bit more about how to light a subject like this and preserve the memory for Liisa. :) I did some experimenting and decided on this shot.
Lighting info: key light was canon 580EX II from high overhead of the camera at 1/16 power, and then I put another light Canon 430EX on the ground behind the flowers with a honl speed grid + green gel to give some back light but I also liked the colour impact on the glass table too. Liisa's not home just yet, but I hope she likes the end result. :)
