My Grandfather

A tough and proud man at 85yrs old, someone who has seen and lived through all extremes of life. Some say he is a 'difficult man' - perhaps. He is certainly someone who likes to live life by his rules (and his rules only)!

The only portrait of him was shot around 18 years ago! Due to my grandfather's ferocity and stubbornness, no one ever dared!

On my recent visit to India we made small conversation and he asked me 'so, you make photos in London?', not wanting to waste any opportunity, I quickly rushed to get my camera and he agreed to be photographed (but in a style that he wanted to be remembered). Maybe he is getting sentimental in his old age.

I managed to grab 7 rare and priceless frames before he lost all interest and walked off. Some rare and priceless moments..
