For reasons we go into on here, we didn’t managed to get many photos of Martha at her christening (19th Aug 2012). Our plan was to send thank you cards with a photo of Martha on her special day in her dress. This shot was taken before she out-grows her christening dress and was taken a few days before we moved house (21st September).
I didn’t get chance to play with the settings or the light much as the room was filled with packing boxes! This was taken on our bed and I used my SB600 and Nikon CLS to fire the flash. The flash was located at around 45° left of camera at 85mm zoom and ½ power shot through a white umbrella. Natural light was used to the right of the camera from our window (still need to buy a reflector!!!!!)
Given the limited time I had to setup the shot I am pleased with the shot.
Nikon 35mm f/1.8 lens.
