"Interesting." It's a word you'll hear me say quite often. It's almost like a catchphrase with me and something I say readily when I'm still formulating opinions on things.

Interestigly enough (see what I did there?), when most people hear me say that word, they assume that my personal stance is in disagreement to the topic of conversation -- or that I'm politely telling them that it's actually not that interesting and would you please shut up now?

That's not it, though.

When I say, "Interesting." That could be loosely translated as, "Your commentary and factual information is being processed, catalogued, and archived, and my opinion is modified accordingly both about the topic at hand and the individual who presented this information."

But if I say that, I sound a little too much like a robot. So, let's stick with, "Interesting!" for now and not give away my secret identity as a cyborg from the future sent to destroy mankind.

Or . . . wait. Oops. Um . . . .
