Tonight I wanted to try to get some lighting action in the backround. I tried to snoot and call attention to small details on the far wall, but I kept missing the aim, or needing to findsomething to use as a gel and had no luck. I decided to have a sigma 530 Super @ 1/64th power pointed directly into the camera. It took a bit of balance to get the exposure the way I wanted it.
Strobist Info:
Camera - Canon 7D ISO 200
Lens - Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L @f/8
Lights - Background Sigma 530 Super bare at 1/64th power zoomed to 105mm. Second light was AB800 camera right high on boom at 1/16th power and a 10 degree grid.
Trigger - Cactus V4 (which failed me a few times tonight)
