This is the last portrait in this series I'm posting. The violin he's holding (and playing sublimely) was built by Bartolomeo Giuseppe Guarneri. (del Gesù) around 1740.

Canon speedlite EX II 580 + CTO gel + pocket wizard flex TT5, at 11 oçlock, 1.5 meters in front of the subject, triggered with a PW mini TT1 on camera. Flash was balanced with the daylight in the background.
