Day 63:
So I've had this idea for the longest time, way before I even started doing composites. Actually I think I thought about this when I was making the baptism invitation for the bear. Anyway, I forgot all about it until now.
The thing is, the in thing nowadays in the photog group I am in are moon shots. And since tonight is supposed to be a full moon, I thought I'd have a go at it myself. Yeah, I have a lot of stocks before but I can't seem to find them so I made up my mind that I will take some moon shots.
For the hard part, I asked the bear to participate in the shoot. I imagined her playing with the moon in a high-key environment. So for the next half hour, we tried to make her play with the giant gym ball that is almost as big as her. Long story short, she wasn't in the mood. Lucky thing was, her mom put her on top of the ball and she smiled for a few seconds, just long enough for me to take a shot. Literally, one shot. And that was that. I knew it'll be difficult to mask because her mom was at her back holding her.
Last thing was to take the stock photo of the moon. And guess what, there was no moon! WTF! Good thing there's the ever reliable internet when you need stocks.
So after a few hours trying to extract the bear from the ball and her mom, this is the final product.
