“Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton was the one who asked why." - Bernard Baruch

I'm taking a break from my manipulations today to talk about apples. Sadly, there's quite a bit more photoshop work in this than it might first appear. The apples were retouched, the color has been rebalanced and the details have been sharpened a bit to make the apples and plate appear very crisp.

Plus, I had to spend all that time playing with my spray bottle to get the water just right. That was oh-so-TERRIBLE! ;)

Gala apples are my favorite of all apples. Red Delicious are okay, but I hate Granny Smiths and Golden Delicious. But I love Gala apples. Love them! They're sweet and a little tangy and succulent. And juicy. Mmmm.

Part of my love from apples comes from my dislike of most sweets. I don't like chocolate and most hard candies, so I'm limited on how I satisfy my sweet tooth. As long as I have an apple, though, I'm set.

Now if you'll pardon me, I've got to go eat another apple. Describing one made my mouth water.

See you tomorrow!
