2 1/2 lights

after watching some of the amazing joel grimes videos out there i'm only starting to realize how important even the smallest details can be, when it comes down to create beautiful light. a few centimeters here and there can have a pretty big impact on the image.

for this shot i used one sb900 in a white lastolite mcnally softbox very very close in on the right side at 90 degree. on the back (left) is another sb900 with diffusor as kicker light for some highlights on the hair and the cheek. to fill in the shadows i used a white reflector also very close in. all modifiers were placed close to give the softest light possible. shot indoors so everything was triggered by infrared (cls) without any problems. post processing was done in photoshop
