Coleus growing in a clear glass vase, no soil, just water. Strobist info: I used my usual rim light set up with an sb600 on each side of the plant, facing the wall to the rear. (both at 1/2 power and about two feet from the wall). A small black panel behind the plant to create a void in the light, a sheet of white paper over top of the plant with an sb900 at 1/4 power (about 4 feet above the plant) aimed straight down onto the plant to light the leaves. Used my 70-200 then cropped in post. slight bump in saturation.
