Strobist:
One 580EX II camera right, about 10 feet away, zoomed to 105mm on low power (1/64 I think). Triggered manually by a Cactus v5 after the light orb was exposed.
The light orb was created by a blue glow stick - it didn't come out very bright, but by increasing the amount of blue in the black and white conversion it got a lot more prominent.
