I've come to learn that studio work is all about making the tough calls. Katrina walked in from the next room with her sister holding three black dresses and asked which one would look best. See what I mean? Tough decisions. Where were these questions when I was in high school? I had to deal with easy questions then, like: what's the capital of Tuvalu? Or, who's the 23rd president of the United States? Now I'm making high stress life changing choices.
All kidding aside, Katrina was wonderful to work with. She asked if I liked smiley photos or serious photos. After I indicated smiley, she said, "Good, because my boyfriend says I look like I have fish lips when I'm serious." I would continue to call her fish lips a few times throughout the shoot, she'd give me a mock serious look, then go back to her gorgeous smile. Great girl.
Special thanks to the multi-talented Jenna for assisting me in the studio and for her Photoshop wizardry in post.
