I found out last week that I am going to be full time from September, meaning that I'm going to be working 7am to 11pm 6 days a week. That's going to leave me very little time for Project 52 which at that time would still have sixteen weeks left to run. The thought that I wouldn't finish the project, and the realisation about how little time I'd have for photography put me in two minds about whether or not to accept the position offered at first - but I did accept.

This is Mitchell Harper, who reminded me what I love about this project. I met Mitch on Model Mayhem weeks ago, and at the time he was working away in London. I booked him originally for week 21 (a fortnight ago when it was glorious sunshine) but problems with my car meant that I unfortunately had to postpone that shoot.

Mitch was an absolute professional; he arrived punctually, and extremely well prepared. He was polite and so pleasant to chat with (all my praise of Mitch will begin with the letter 'p' it seems!) We tried a number of costume changes in the studio which will follow in the next couple of days.

I would love to work with Mitch again; he honestly was so much fun. I think today was one of the most fun shoots that I've had this year - and it was just what I needed to remind me why I am doing Project 52.

It doesn't matter if I don't stick to one picture per week and if it takes longer than a year to complete, so be it.

Strobist:
2 hair lights in frame firing on 1/2 power just to feature in the composition of the image.
2 giant soft boxes on 1/4 power positioned to model's 4 and 7o'clock.
