Jordan contacted me and said he wanted some graduation pictures done. However, he didn't want the traditional cap and gown shots. In his wods, "I don't care if it has anything to do with the school. I just want pictures done around the time that I graduated. I want to look like model. I want cover shoot."
I asked Jordan to drive around town and come up with a few possible locations he might want to use, which he did. We settled on this fantastic location in downtown Cookeville.
Well Jordan, here's to some of the coolest college graduation photos I've been a part of. Great job, kid.
strobist: 1 White Lightning x1600, boomed above camera, diffused by a Mola Demi. 2 White Lightning Ultrazap 1600s, camera left and right (behind subject), with standard reflectors. Another mono was set up with a PLM, but we didn't end up using it for the shoot. I shaded the subject using a 60" umbrella set high on a lightstand. Monolights powered via Vagabond IIs and Innovatronix Explorer XT. A Genuse ND Fader Filter was used.
