18/52

beachc0mber has added a photo to the pool:

18/52

I had a model arranged for Tuesday of this week but it fell through at the last moment. I also had a model arranged for Saturday, and that fell through at the last moment too. I managed to get my mate to step in at the very last minute to create a portrait that was absolutely nothing like what I had in mind. It became a really dark and scary picture. Both of us were really enjoying making these portraits and it's my first portrait using three speed lights!

Strobist:
SB600 gelled red behind subject
SB800 gelled green behind subject
SB800 bare illuminating the handprint on the wall
Silver reflector bouncing a little light back into James' face.

35mm f/1.4L on f/7.1 1/200. Then a bit of dodging and burning and I was happy.
