Strobist: Bare 430EX II, about 9 o'clock, set to 24mm, full power. Another 430 EX II, about 5 o'clockish, zoomed to 105mm. Camera on a tripod, and flashes tripped in rear-curtain sync mode via Pocketwizard Mini TT1/ Flex TT5 combo.
Not sure how the staff part of the flaming staff he was spinning around managed to vanish from the photo - I expected the flashes to pick it up, but somehow, it didn't happen.
