Good fun shooting Oliver Hambling in Shoreditch London.
He's an amazingly talented magician. We orgnaised a 4 hour shoot in an fantastic old dilapidated town house in the middle of London.

4 light setup. @ speedlights for rim light left and right of camera slightly behind subject. Powered at 1/32 power zoomed to 80mm and gelled with 1/4 CTO.
Main Key light 70cm SB gridded up high on boom over head and slightly in front of subject. Elinchrom Quadra around 1/32 power.
Final 4th light as a speedlight was attached to the tripod around 2' off the ground. Gridded to lift the shadows in his eyes. 1/128 power.
Slow shutter allow the flames to light his face and add warmth. Low power strobes so not to over power the flames.
