Tullaian has added a photo to the pool:
430EXII off camera right and well behind her to cast the shadow via 10m ETTL cord, 105mm zoom, 1/2 power. Had to kneel down to make my shadow roughly her height , triggered camera with remote. Got the idea from Strobist blog film noir exercise.
