I shoot quite a lot of editorial portraiture for commercial and business magazines. I like doing these jobs as it's a total lottery with regards to where you get to shoot, the type of person you're shooting and how much time you have to get the job done.
It's generally about 15 minutes with this particular magazine. I used to do them without an assistant but fortunately a lot less nowadays.
Lighting: Medium sized beauty dish held on a boom by a strong armed assistant.
