StephenCaissiePhoto has added a photo to the pool:
Mamiya 645 AFD with ZD digital back.
Figure: 1/125" @ f/8, 45mm f/2.8 lens. ISO 50, WB flash.
Background: 1/3" @ f/2.8, 80mm f/2.8 lens. ISO 50, WB flash.
Notes:
1. The white balance on both the figure and background images have been adjusted quite dramatically in Capture One.
2. The background is a crop from a 22-image panorama. The high-res version of this is just shy of 76 megapixels. I nearly broke my Macbook Pro.
3. How lucky is it that I got emergency vehicles in the shot on my one attempt to photograph downtown Toronto? I wish I'd had the resources to add in things like spectators, bits of swirling paper, etc. but at least I got some red lights if nothing else.
4. The model's name is Aieron Munro (AJ, as he likes to be called). I had him stand on a cooler in the studio and jump off it about 20 times in order to get this pose just right. He was quite the sport.
5. The MUA, Lauren Krieger, put three gashes on him in record time, and had to keep spritzing him with water between takes.
6. Strobist info for the figure: Two Photogenic PL1500 strobes in 2' x 3' softboxes @ 1/8 power to camera left and right, 90º around and about 4 feet or so from the model and aimed slightly upwards. Two speedlights @ full power, gelled purple, behind model to left and right, and flagged off so that they would not flare into the camera.
