I finally got to upgrading my 70-200 lens to a f/2.8 IS (Mark I) version last week. On Saturday I had the time to "test drive" it in the studio :) I must say I'm very happy with its performance.

Strobist information:
Very simple lighting was used to achieve this look. An Elinchrom 44cm (white) Softlite (beauty dish) was mounted on a boom just in front and above the subject and a 18cm gridded reflector was used from behind the subject (camera left) as a kicker / hair light. A silver reflector was used as fill below the subject (check the catch lights in the eyes). The strobes used were Elinchrom D-Lite 4 It. A Sekonic L-358 was used for metering the strobes.
