Portrait of Greg

Shineylewis has added a photo to the pool:

Portrait of Greg

Really... what can I say?
It doesn't get much better than having the opportunity to photograph Greg.

Greg is a truly gifted artist and musician, not to mention rock climber and motorcycle lover.
A genuinely intense guy with the most character I'll probably ever see in from of my camera.

Taken during the Don Giannatti Workshop held at my studio last weekend.

Lighting Info:
All lights are AlienBee B800's

There was a 5' Photoflex octabank on Greg's right, placed at a 90º angle.
Greg was standing at the very far back edge of the light, which feathered the soft light towards the opposite side of his face.
I don't exactly remember, but there may have been a white V-flat placed on Greg's left, for fill. I know we used the V-flat for several of the shots, but I'm not sure which ones. I think we did use it here, because Don wanted to bring some light on the leather jacket. At some point, Don added a strip box in front of Greg, to his left, for additional fill. Again... I apologize, but I am not 100% sure if it was used for this shot. For the background, there was a strobe with a bare reflector placed about a foot from the thunder gray seamless, right behind Greg.
