I went out to test my strobes again today. I am really liking the look of the shots. I learned this week, that aperture is what controls the flash and not the shutter speed. I know it sounds basic, but it was a revelation to me! Totally changed how I approach the setup now. Now if I could just get some good sky to test with! There wasn't a cloud in sight today, so the lighting was extra harsh and pretty much whatever I shot at, I blew out the sky. Back at it tomorrow!
P.S. I started this test with my 85mm ƒ1.8, but it was a flare MONSTER. I had the sun, just outside the frame and it came out almost white! I am glad that I brought the 70-200mm.
