The Derek has added a photo to the pool:
It's been so long since I've set up for some 'studio' type shots. It's been great doing weddings, couples, and various outdoor shoots, but I have been missing some meticulously organised lights and trying stuff out..
My daughter was too tired for a portrait, so I asked my son who was willing to sit for a 'transformer' that I had in the cupboard for 'payment'.
I decided that I didn't want anything too soft and wanted to experiment with grids and gels.
The set up is as follows..
Strobist info:
SB910 through 1/8" grid above and almost on axis on a boom arm.
SB80DX gelled blue through a rolled up snoot camera right and behind.
SB80DX camera left gelled CTO with a 1/4" grid pointed to a black background.
YN560 gelled 1/2 CTO camera left facing m,y son.
Silver reflector (for what it was worth) camera right and below.
