speedRS has added a photo to the pool:
My first attempts at trying to capture a droplet of water. I created the drop buy holding my finger over one end of a straw (to keep hold the water in place) and then removing it to cause the drop. The camera was equipped with a modifying macro lens on top of the 18-55mm. The hardest part I found was timing the remotely triggered flash (setting the camera to a two second shutter delay helped me get everything in position). When I finally got it right, it would bounce off a white piece of cardboard behind the wok and highlight the water droplet. A black wok filled with water seemed to make things look a bit nicer underneath the water.
