I found and purchased this copper bowl in the gift store in the visitor center of Roper Lake State Park during our recent trip to Arizona. I bought it because of the textures and colors I saw in it.
I used three strobes to light it. One in a soft box to either side of the bowl, and one bare flash in front, hand held. I used manual output for the flashes, and kept adjusting until I got the results I liked. The strobes were triggered by the pop up flash on my D90 in commander mode.
