Marcus Charter has added a photo to the pool:
Yes it is Nathan again. He gave me so many great images which promote some great idea's it's hard not to keep posting up images with him in. This week I vowed not to use his image but to do a dart idea I have, but work and commercial photography training have limited the amount of time available, so had to use an existing image rather than take a new one.
Nathan was extracted from the shot with a mask, then I put the word pain on his glove and used some masking and exposure techniques to make it look like part of the original glove. Put him on a blank wall from the side of my house and added some graffiti which I did all myself as a result of my mis-spent youth. Bit rusty but hey, hopefully it doesn't look too bad. Bit weird as well doing it on a tablet. Placed all that onto a billboard scene and then tried to blend it all in by pushing the light from the scene on to the billboard. Few light trails in the street and a bit of grime on the billboard to finish it all off.
Nathans images has about 12 layers. The Wall with Nathan in has about 35 layers. The final image has about 30 layers. That's a lot layers, at least for me.
To be honest, I've looked and looked and looked at this, and I'm not sure, but it is my week 8 picture so ta-da here it is. Hope you like! (see if you can spot the cheeky Charter Photography sign!)
Nathan's lighting was a 580EX in a brolly box as key, a 430EX to the right as fill with another 430EX behind left as rim.
