Snoos Pix has added a photo to the pool:
For round 15 of Get Pushed I was paired up with the photographer and artist himself, Matt Lincoln. I highly recommend checking out his stream!
He offered me two options for my push and I chose: "Shoot a portrait but don't worry about your model too much. Focus instead on the rest of the picture, thinking about how the negative space compliments the positive space. When you look through your lens, pay attention to the 2-dimensional image in the view finder. Move around to eliminate other elements that don't tell your subject's story, and see if the elements that stay in the frame can suggest geometrical shapes (vaguely)."
Here me out when I say I am truly disappointed with my response because I had thought out so many ideas for this excellent push but due to stressful times, I ended up renouncing my ideas and submitting a photo that scarcely follows the guidelines of the, I repeat, excellent push. -sad face-
Nonetheless, I WILL keep those ideas in mind so if anyone is interested, the photos will hopefully be up in the next couple of weeks.
Even though I'm not so happy with this being my response, this push has opened my mind and motivated me to try something I wouldn't have thought of otherwise...which is basically the purpose of this group, right?
Happy New Year's everybody! You should check out what my pair submitted, I really love it!
See you next round! Cheers! :)
