I used to love to watch the jets of powder shoot out, and I thought that this would be a fun picture to explore. I used a tripod and remote since I needed one hand to squeeze the powder bottle. Each time I went to squeeze the bottle, I had to turn it upside down first. I marked the table with duct tape to make sure I got the bottle in the same spot every time. I had the camera set on manual focus.
