So this is what this 366 drives you too!!
10 at night blowing a gale and you find yourself stood in the drive (working from home tonight as the kids are in bed!!) with 3 tripods rigged up. 1 for the camera, one for the flash at the back and one for the kaleidoscope, a wheelie bin moved left of camera to stand the second flash on and a piece of black card taped to your 'T'shirt.
So I stood the kaleidoscope in front of the camera and set lens to 11mm focused on the kaleidoscope, opened the shutter and lit it up. Lens cap on and removed it from in front of the camera, focal length to 16mm and reset the focus. Then jumped in front of the camera removed the lens cap and closed the shutter with the remote. The flashes were set to rear synch and fired from nikon CLS.
This was the closest out of 5 shots that I got it to being on the card. Then it started to rain so I called it a day.... Why is it so difficult to line yourself up in front of a camera?!!
