Softlighter and ring light (in softlight reflector) camera left as fill. Small softbox (double-diffused Chimera) camera right and high as key. Nikon D3 and 24-70/2.8. Profoto Acute lights (2 heads + ring) all connected to a single 2400 watt Acute pack.
Lighting setup inspired by Dan Winters, but (a) camera wasn't through ring; (b) camera was between fill and key lights; and (c) no desaturation in post.
Subject: Jeanine retires tomorrow (June 22) after 47 years of teaching elementary school pupils in the Bellevue Public Schools. She's sitting here at her desk in front of her corner student snapshots and letters collected over the years. Many of her students have gone on to lead very successful lives.
