Day 36

Finally, home after a night full of drinking, singing and laughter. It was fun, but nevertheless, exhausting. Which reminds me, I need to polish up the photos from last night and upload them soon (maybe tomorrow during the training).

Earlier today, I thought I'd just take one of the photos from last night and use it as the day's image but then that would be cheating. So, eventhough I'm still half-asleep, I sucked it up and decided to set-up a shot. I wanted to use the carpark bg from last night but I didn't have an available model. I then looked around the kitchen and I found the remaining Mixmax vodka cocktail which, luckily, have very contrasting colors. So, I wiped the bottles free of dust and grime and did the same for the coffee table. 'Transferred the table to the garage and set my strobes in place. The lighting was basic and simple so after a few minutes it was finished. The tricky part was the tripod and the camera. Since the 24-70 is almost as heavy or heavier than the 7D and my tripod is cheap piece of crap, the camera tends to slip downwards. So to keep it in place, I placed a stool underneath and a sandal in between. Now that's settled, I switched to bulb mode and started to paint the background with the phone. After a few tries, I found the one I liked (it looks better at high resolution, I don't know what the hell is wrong with facebook nowadays).

I still need to prepare for the coming week so I'll stop here. Not sure how I'll be doing the project since I won't have most of my equipment but I will try to sustain as best as I could.
