Twenty-one is a number of some significance and wide-ranging use. It’s a winning hand in blackjack, the number of shots fired to symbolize an honor, and widely considered to be the age of maturity and responsibility. It is a divine number in Christian numerology, the total count of amino acids, and is the sum of all the numbers written in one die. Amazing, right? Hell, it’s even the number of Mr Depp’s Jump Street!
All those things, however, matter little when 21 represents the sum total of years a man has spent in the Coca-Cola Company. That is no small feat. It is an achievement of the highest order. Not many people have been lucky enough because not many people are tough enough. Jollie, is both.
One would think that with all the things he’s seen in his 21 years in Coke - from the arrival of a data storage medium known as the diskette to the advent of all these newfangled wireless thingamajigs - one would think he would have a lot to say upon his departure. He didn’t. He had but two words to say...“Thank You.”
Cheers man! Thank you too. :)
