Trying a new lighting set up as seen on Strobist. Lighting was an Einstein in a large Paul Buff PLM with white diffuser overhead turned almost to minimum. Reflector below to kick a touch of light into the eyes. Flash triggered optically on the background at minimum setting and the face taped off to minimize the light. Processed in Aperture, PS and NIK plugins. Shot with nifty 50.
