Strong CPA has added a photo to the pool:
I attempted to recreate the posters for the upcoming movie "The Hunger Games" with this shot. I used a 580EX II camera right, directly in Ryan's face, approximately 4 feet away, fired by a sync cable attached to my Canon 50D. The room was completely lit by daylight, so I set the camera at its highest sync speed, 250, then stopped the lens down until the background was completely black. Then I tinkered with the power of the flash until his face was properly exposed.
