Is with all my strength I'm fighting to hang on to a world that is no longer mine, to stay in those places that I love so much and are now forbidden to me. In those beautiful prairies I ran and played with my children, free to run in every direction and distance, there were no confines, the world was only ours, and everything that belonged to us and smiled at us rejoiced with us of our happiness. Everything seemed that could never end.
Today I watch at those places from behind the bars of the gates that you have raised, I see the paths that together we have covered millions of times and I still hear the whisper of our laughter, the warmth of their hugs, I see clearly that light that lit up our eyes and, with my entire will, i try to force the locks of which only you have the keys.
From out here I watch us, the ones we truly are not the ones who we have become, and my heart, smiling, began to tear.
